Anthony Davis, an eight-time NBA All-Star, will probably play tonight’s game between the LA Lakers and the Toronto Raptors. AD last missed a game against the OKC Thunder on March 1 for the same reason.
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently having a successful run. They were the 13th seed in the West going into the All-Star break. Nonetheless, they were able to move up to the 9th spot thanks to a 5-2 run after the break. Anthony Davis is a major factor in their success.
The 6-foot 10-inch big man was in the midst of some of his best basketball before suffering a foot injury early in the season. He needed some time to get back into shape, but in the last three games, he’s been fantastic. ADs averaged 33 points, 13.8 rebounds, and over 60% field goal shooting during the previous five games. Is Anthony Davis playing tonight against Toronto Raptors?
Anthony Davis has never completely been off the Injuries Report since making a full recovery. He has always had a right foot stress injury listed as likely. He has, however, participated in nine of the last ten Lakers contests.
In spite of missing five and a half weeks due to a stress fracture in his right foot, Anthony Davis has only missed three games since his comeback on January 25. The Lakers hope he won’t have to miss any games until they at least secure a play-in position.
With a 32-34 record following their victory over the Memphis Grizzlies three nights ago, Darvin Ham’s team is now ranked ninth in the Western Conference. AD’s NBA MVP-caliber performance has contributed greatly to LA’s turnaround.
He will be a game-time decision for tomorrow night and is once more labeled as likely. But we’ll probably see him on the court vs the Raptors. The Lakers received an intriguing D’Angelo Russell update at the same time. Is Mo Bamba and D’Angelo Russell playing tonight against Toronto Raptors?
A fellow Los Angeles Lakers always seem to take that player’s spot on the injured list when someone returns to the field. On Thursday, the Lakers revealed two pieces of information—one positive and one bad—and that turned out to be the case. Unfortunately for Los Angeles, backup center Mo Bamba will miss at least four weeks due to a sprained left ankle, the organization said on Thursday. People anticipate that D’Angelo Russell, the Lakers’ starting point guard, will play against the Toronto Raptors on Friday after missing the previous six contests due to an ankle ailment of his own.
