Details of the going investigation

The Glendale Police Department on investigating the incident stated that Morant would not be charged with a crime. However, Morant has been making headlines for similar incidents lately that are more than his basketball highlights this season. Records indicate an additional incident that he “threatened” the head of security at a mall and then punched a teenage boy multiple times before going into his house and emerging with a gun. Although, Morant in his defense claimed that he acted in self-defense when he punched the teenager.

Similarly, in February also Morant was accused of a firearm incident in the Indiana Pacers‘ traveling party which is yet to be confirmed. Also Read: Shaquille O’Neil says, “it’s all up to AD,” clarifying his recent remarks on Anthony’s fall

Although, Morant is one of the best young players in the league right now and has been a major reason for the Grizzlies’ success this season. However, his off-court incidents have become a cause for concern which is definitely not good for his remaining career. He is young and he’s definitely got a lot of potential but if things are not straightened for him in the near future. It might turn out to be a calamity for him.
