“It’s been a great week for me, a dream week after a long time with no competition. Coming to Buenos Aires and showing the level I showed is amazing and really special. He had a breakout season in 2022. He won the US Open and became the youngest player get to clinch the coveted cup since Pete Sampras in 1990. At the same time, he became the youngest player to reach the top spot in the ranking.

Alcaraz made his debut appearance at the Buenos Aires after recovering from the injury. He lost only one set in the four matches. “I had a chance to win the match at 5-3 and he broke my serve easily,” Alcaraz said.
